「日記?」It's summer! It's a festival!

Good afternoon everybody. It's Kitsuneya.

I think today's article is pretty short.

Summer has arrived in Japan!

In Japan, the rainy season is over and summer has arrived. The temperature in the Kanto region has already exceeded 35 degrees Celsius, and in some places it has reached 39 degrees Celsius. It's hot this year compared to the usual June. People living in Japan should be careful about heat stroke and dehydration.

Furthermore, there are concerns about water shortages in Japan this year, probably because the rainy season was early. It seems that some reservoirs are less than half the average year. However, from past data, it is said that the total amount of precipitation throughout the year in Japan is unlikely to fluctuate significantly. In other words, it is possible that rain that did not fall during the rainy season will fall during the summer. It seems better to be wary of floods and landslides that accompany it.

If you plan to visit Japan this summer, please be careful. In Japan, the humidity is high, so the sensible temperature feels very high. Hydrate frequently and eat a minimum diet even if you don't feel an appetite. Also, don't forget to wear sunscreen.

It's a festival! It's a festival!

As of 2022, although new infections have been confirmed for epidemics, the situation is calm, so festivals will be held in various places for the first time in three years. The scale is smaller than before 2019, and the time is shorter, but this is the first festival in three years! I love festivals. Each region has its own characteristics, and everyone has a good time. I'm looking forward to returning such time for the first time in 3 years!

Fireworks have become synonymous with summer in Japan. Although it was "fireworks = summer", summer fireworks have not risen for the past three years. I am looking forward to the moment when beautiful flowers bloom in the night sky this summer!

That's all for this article.

Today, I posted a short article because it was declared that the rainy season was over in Japan.

Summer in Japan is hot. But it is also the time when sunlight reaches the longest. It is bright from about 4 am to past 7 pm. And it is also the time when there are the most festivals. What I want to say is that it is the time when the tension rises the most in the year. I may be the only one, but lol

What is your favorite season? Please let us know in the comments.

See you later.
