「都市伝説」Mysterious story of Japan vol.1

Hello everyone. This is Kitsuneya, who runs a blog.

This time, I would like to tell you one of the many wonders of Japan.

That is, "What is Japanese?"

"Japanese" is said to be a mysterious and difficult language even from a global perspective. This time, I will explain what Japanese people in Japanese do not understand. However, this article is a rumor and may not be true.

It's quick to believe 100%. If you are interested, please check it out for yourself. I hope you enjoy reading this article like a gossip story.

When is the origin of Japanese? where?

All we know about this is "I don't know."

There are too many differences from other countries' languages, and there are few things in common, so I don't know when and where Japanese was born and settled in Japan. It cannot be said that there is a similar language in linguistics. Some scholars also call Japanese an "isolated language."

I think that "Japanese = Kanji" that you imagine, but Kanji is a character that originated in China. Around the 1st century, when Chinese characters were imported and used in Japan. It is said that it was commonly used around the latter half of the 4th century. It is not clear whether there was a letter before that. Perhaps there were "words" for conversation, but no "letters"? The theory has become influential.

However, in fact, some "strange characters" have been found.

---------------------------------------- ー-----

It's a rumor from here!

"Jindai moji" and "wedge character"

Jindai moji (神代文字) are characters that are also used in some of the current Japanese shrines. The origin of this character is unknown, but it is depicted in ancient Japanese artifacts and shrines that have existed for a long time. And it is said to be very similar to the characters used in the Mesopotamian civilization, the oldest civilization of mankind.

In Japan after that, there are traces of the use of "Kine Wedge Character", but it is known that this character is very similar to the "Wedge Character" used in the Sumerian civilization.

By the way, it is said that the Mesopotamian civilization used it 5600 years ago, and the oldest record in Japan is 16000 years ago.

···Really? Well, it's just a rumor. It is said that there were letters in Japan from 16000 years ago, but I am suspicious to say clearly. However, from the perspective of scholars studying wedge characters, the characters of the Sumerian civilization and the Japanese characters of that era still seem to be similar.

In other words, the island nation of Japan may have had some kind of interaction with the Sumerian civilization. It seems that some scholars think that.

Characters that are alleged to be fake have also been found.

In addition to this, the characters "Kata Kamuna" and "Woshite character" existed in ancient Japan. Some people argue, but the Japanese government has determined that "all the books with these are fake ones made later."

However, it seems that some people think that "the Japanese government and archaeologists are hiding something!" It's a conspiracy theory.

Is there really a language similar to Japanese?

There are several languages that are said to be partly similar. Among them, the closest ones are said to be Hebrew and Egyptian languages.

First, the hieroglyphs used in ancient Egyptian civilization are similar to the Jindai moji. Both are shaped like objects and animals, and when you make a table, it seems that a table with a very similar shape is created.

And it's Hebrew. It is said that there are about 3,000 Hebrew words that have similar pronunciations and meanings. Especially similar is the traditional song "Soran Bushi" that has been handed down to Japanese fishermen. There is a story that the lyrics of this song are very similar to Hebrew.

From here, isn't it the same roots of Japanese and Jewish people as "Japanese-Jewish Commonwealth Theory"? The rumor was completed. It seems that there are pros and cons, but it seems that there are a certain number of people in countries other than Japan who believe in it. I learned this story quite recently, and honestly, many Japanese people don't know much about it and don't care about it. I think it's an interesting story.

Of course, language alone is not the only reason for this theory. It seems that Japanese and Jews are other ethnic groups with many similarities.

---------------------------------------- ー----ー

I have written based on rumors so far, but in fact Japanese is a mysterious language that is still unknown to those who are studying languages.

If you are interested, why not try your own research?
