「コーヒー」Is Japanese coffee strange?

 Hello everyone.

Today I would like to introduce you to Japanese coffee.

It seems that Japanese coffee seems to have changed from the world, is that true?

I was born in Japan, so I didn't notice it because I didn't feel any discomfort. So, while explaining about Japanese coffee, I would like to write my opinion.

Do Japanese people not put sugar or milk in coffee?

This is half true. Japanese people drink coffee when they are tired or sleepy, but sometimes they drink coffee without putting anything in it. When I buy coffee from a vending machine, I only buy "black coffee" that doesn't contain anything. However, this is often taken as an alternative to energy drinks. Or maybe if you care about sugar. Basically, it's common to drink with sugar, milk, or both. I'm used to black coffee, so I like to buy it, but I think those people are in the minority.

Is it true that Japanese people drink coffee with ice?

This is true. In fact, I don't think there is a store that has coffee and you can't choose between "hot coffee" and "cold coffee with ice." If you have coffee on the menu and order only by saying "coffee"

"Which is hot coffee or cold coffee?"

It is common to hear back. Similarly, tea, latte, and cocoa are sometimes drunk with ice in a cup. Especially in the summer, it is rare for people to drink hot coffee. If you haven't tried it, please try it. It's very delicious. Ah, coffee is made with a strong taste, assuming that the ice will melt. Also, use gum syrup for sugar.

Is the quality of the coffee in the book extreme?

I have seen the opinion of non-Japanese people that "Japanese coffee is of extreme quality." What is that? When I think about it,

"Some stores grind beans for each order, but they are sold in cans at vending machines."

"The shops that grind beans are also particular about each shop, and the taste is different."

"The taste of cans, PET bottles, and paper cartons is incomparably different from what you drink at the store."

It was written like that.

Is this opinion fulfilled? I think it almost matches.

The taste of coffee shops that are chained does not change, but in cafes that are run by individuals, the origin and type of beans change depending on the shop. In addition, how to grind beans, add hot water, and extract coffee may vary from store to store. Therefore, there are some restaurants that are delicious, but honestly, there are also restaurants where coffee is not so delicious. If you want a stable and decent coffee, I recommend a chain coffee or a convenience store coffee machine.

vending machine. You can buy hot canned coffee and tea in winter.

Do you think canned coffee is delicious?

This is divided even by Japanese people. Basically, coffee sold in cans is sweet. It's sweet enough to think that sugar is more than coffee! Or black coffee with coffee only. Many are not delicious! However, it is very useful. Especially in winter. The reason is that you can buy it at a vending machine. Japanese vending machines have overheating and heat retention functions, so you can buy warm drinks at the vending machines. I use it very much during work. I wonder if I will buy about 20 bottles in a week. lol

Well, this article ends here.

How much coffee do you drink?

I'm a coffee addict so much that I never drink.

It's bad for you to drink a lot, so everyone should be moderate.

see you next time.
